Dr.Angus Ian Kinnear-
Dr. Angus Ian Kinnear (b. Woolwich, London, 1912; qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, 1936) was a distinguished medical professional who served as the medical superintendent and general practitioner at Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India, and later as a general practitioner in Herne Hill, London. He passed away from leukaemia on 21 August 2002.
Following his medical qualification, Dr. Kinnear dedicated a decade of service at Dohnavur Hospital in southern India, working alongside the renowned missionary Amy Carmichael. In 1950, he assumed the role of medical superintendent at Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, where he made significant contributions to healthcare in the region.
Upon returning to England in 1961, he joined a general practice in Herne Hill, South London. Alongside his medical career, he continued an active global publishing ministry, notably promoting the works of the Christian thinker Watchman Nee.
Dr. Kinnear is survived by his wife, Jean, two children, and four grandchildren.

Together, let’s embody the values of Ravindra House and inspire meaningful change in the world.
Dr. A. Ravindra, was advisor to the chief minister on urban affairs. He attended the National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie and is a member of the Indian Administrative Services. He began his career as a subdivision director and then district commissioner in Karnataka, his home state. Through a variety of positions, he developed expertise on the urban sector. He twice served as commissioner of Bangalore City Municipal Corporation and was chairman of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). His career included work at Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) and a position on the board of Agenda for Bengaluru Infrastructure and Development task force (ABIDe). Dr.Ravindra served as chief secretary of the state of Karnataka in the early 2000s. He holds a doctorate in urban studies and is the author of Urban Land Policy: A Metropolitan Perspective.
